We've gotten a lot of questions lately around our pricing model and how it all works so we will try our best to answer all of this right here.

First of all, Semplice is a one-time payment product and you buy it as it is. That means you only pay once and the software is forever yours. No monthly fees or anything like it. So if you purchase the Single, Studio or Business Edition, you own it and you can use it as long as you like.

Our promise to you is that you will receive a stable product at the time of your purchase and we will do our best to provide free critical updates and bugfixes for 12 months after your purchase. This does not include free features or addons. You buy the product as it is.

This is essentially our way to give you full control and freedom, offer you free critical updates* but at the same time give some of our users the possibility to purchase optional paid upgrades if we decide to publish some in the future.

SIMPLY PUT: It's how software used to be. For example, back in the days you would purchase Photoshop 6 and you can use it as long as it's running. If you want to get the new Photoshop 7 version, you can decide if you want to pay again, or just stick with your Photoshop 6 version. Semplice is just like that. And the good thing is, it's totally up to you, we won't force you.
