When we first created Semplice in 2014, we didn't call it Semplice 1. It was our first and only portfolio product. There was nothing to compare it to. Little did we know, we would soon have a strong community of creative people using Semplice and allowing it to become better and better.

In 2017, we released Semplice 4. It was built on completely new technology with a brand new interface and a new foundation. Now, after working hard on it for the last two years, we are releasing Semplice 6.

Semplice 6 is fully compatible with Semplice 4 & 5. If you are currently using Semplice 4 or 5 for your site, it's a seamless upgrade for you. Simply install and activate your new Semplice 6 files in WordPress and activate your new license key, and you're good to go.

Is Semplice 6 compatible with previous versions of Semplice?

Semplice 6 is fully compatible with Semplice 4 & 5. It is not compatible with Semplice 3 or earlier Semplice products. If you're currently using Semplice 3, 4 or 5, you can upgrade with a 20% family discount right here.

Of course, any Semplice upgrades are always OPTIONAL. You can also continue using your previous Semplice licenses separately.

Do you have discounted pricing for existing customers?

Yes! If you're using Semplice 3, 4 or 5 right now and want to upgrade to Semplice 6, we have a family discount for you. Upgrade right here for 20% off Semplice 5. If you can't find your license key to upgrade, send a quick note to help@semplice.com and we'll help you find it.

But I just bought Semplice recently. Do I have to buy it again?

We know how frustrating it is to see a new product come out right after you purchased. So if you bought Semplice between January 1st 2022 and April 19th 2022, we have a special arrangement for you. Please reach out to us at help@semplice.com with your previous Semplice order ID so we can help you.

But I want new Semplice products for free forever!

Semplice has always been a one-time payment product, meaning you buy it once and it's yours to keep. But even though you only paid once, for the past five years we still shipped many great features for free, and we will most likely continue doing this on a fair basis.
